This website is owned and operated by Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors access to The Solopreneur Coach resources and community of coaches. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Who can use your website; what are the requirements to create an account

In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

Our core ethos for Solopreneur Coach Community is to show you a way of doing business which empowers you and those around you. We practice what we preach and part of that involves setting out clearly from the outset the way in which we will deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join the Solopreneur Coach Community, (“the Membership”) then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.

 

Membership Terms: Key Details

The terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase the Membership you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. The terms and conditions set out below apply to the services offered by Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd (“we”, “our” or “us”) provide services to you, as purchaser of the membership. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

 

Membership Outline

The Solopreneur Coach Community is a membership platform for entrepreneurs who want to learn how to learn more about the fundamental building blocks for building a coaching business and receive support from others in the building and maintenance of their coaching business. The membership is an ongoing commitment where you can get regular support and guidance.

 

The aim is to provide support and guidance on the strategies which coaching businesses need to help them to grow and become safe, authentic to you purpose for having the business and become efficient and profitable. The information is not tailored to any specific coaching service type or any one person or business but includes information which has been tested and used across a range of different coaching services.

It is also focused and designed for those who are starting out in business. Whilst it may be useful for those who have been in business for a number of years as a refresh, the membership is best suited to those who are new to having a business or who are stuck or not happy with their business build to date. Should you need specific or bespoke support then please contact us to enquire about our one to one services.  

 

Membership Specifics

There are four elements to the membership:

  1. Monthly Live Topic Sessions including Q&A

  2. Access to a Community Forum to as your questions and share advice with other Solopreneur Coaches.

  3. Downloadable Documents from the House Model

  4. Access to additional support services with a Membership Discount

 

Live Events

The live events will be led by Kate Freedman. From time to time they may also be joined by expert coaches and consultants who are specialists in different areas of running coaching businesses.

The monthly live event will take place, either directly via Zoom (or another similar video conferencing platform) for approximately 1 hour. Unless there are unforeseen circumstances, the video calls will take place on Monday afternoon UK time and will be published for booking a live seat on the Events page.

During each weekly live session, Kate will focus on a Coaching House topic and will be exploring your related questions that can be submitted in advance on the forum or asked live in the Chat function. As many questions will be answered as time allows. References will be made to the sites resources.

The information and guidance shared will be based on my own business and through experience of working in the coaching profession for over 12 years.

 

Community Forum

You will get the chance to ask questions about your coaching business build and get tailored bespoke answers through asking and answering questions to all members through the community forum. This will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own circumstances and get support. It is also an opportunity to share your learning with others.

 

Self-Study

In addition to the live events, live Q&As and forum there are materials provided for self-study when you click on the Coaching House model. If you have read the book “The Coaching Solopreneur” these resources take you from the ‘Why and What’ shared in the book for your business build and offer a deeper look at the ‘How’.  For best results you should work through the worksheets or video material in your own time. Failure to review the self-study materials may limit your ability to learn from the tips and guidance shared in the live sessions.

 

Access to Additional Support

You will have access to support events as part of your Membership at discounted rates to those requesting these places as non-members. The intention of the events is to provide community support to the network of individuals at a similar stage of building their coaching business and who are facing similar challenges.

 

From time to Kate Freedman may post and offer support in the forum or newsfeed but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately but the intention is any member may reply.

 

Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the events capacity we make no guarantees as to the availability of the group and/or the content within the group at any time as this will be based on the delegates and the questions posed for group work. The alternative is to request one to one support through the contact form below the events.

 

Behaviour

It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other members.

Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from the membership with immediate effect.

 

Disclaimers

The aim of the membership is to provide you with the understanding of how to build a sustainable coaching business and to grow and scale that business over time. As a business owner your business is individual and personal to you and whilst the strategies and techniques which we will provide are tested, it is not intended that you will watch a video or read a worksheet and that you will instantly turn a profit overnight.

 

We make no guarantees or claims as to the success of any member. Each individual is unique and their business and processes are unique to them. The aim is that by working through the resources and taking advantage of all of the elements which the membership has to offer you will have new information, strategies and techniques to create a successful sustainable business.

 

All information provided will be general information and guidance and will not be bespoke advice. We are not responsible for any action or inaction which you take as a result of the information within the membership. We are not responsible for any loss of opportunity or any investments which you make.

 

No content in this membership should be construed as medical advice, whether mental or physical. If you believe that you require medical attention you should seek assistance from a medical professional immediately. We ask that all members in the membership respect the rights of others in respect of their behaviour and privacy. We will not be responsible for the action of any members including for any disclosures made by any members based on information which has been shared within the membership.

 

Contact and Schedule

It is the intention that the membership will run continuously and that any materials live Q&As and live masterclass sessions will be provided as set out above. Should an unforeseen reason arise which cause a session(s) to be postponed they will be re-arranged as soon as possible.

 

Throughout the membership we will be available by email Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm via hello@katefreedman.co.uk and will respond as soon as possible and within 48 hours during the hours stated.

If you have a technical query relating to accessing the membership please include “Tech” in the subject line of your email correspondence.

You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live and some will be pre-scheduled. We are passionate about supporting everyone in the membership and where we can we may respond to you out of hours but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.

 

Payment Terms

The cost of the membership is set at the time you subscribe. On subscription you will agree to an annual membership payment via the Wix payment options which will be taken on the same day each year. Payments for events are taken on booking in the same manner.

 
Key commercial Terms offered to customers

When buying a subscription, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for the subscription displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently
occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

The fee for the services and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged based on the product selected and to your payment method. As the product offer is a digital product refunds are only offered if you have not been able to access the digital offer. Refunds are also not available on event bookings if you cancel your place.

 

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to us. Your personal data is protected as set out in our privacy policy which can be found at Privacy Policy | Kate Freedman

We utilise Wix.com to manage our communications with you and from time to time may utilise the Google analytics tool.

During the course of the membership you may have access to confidential information, in particular the personal affairs of others on the course. In accepting these terms, you agree that you will not use or disclose to any person, organisation or company, and shall use your best endeavours to prevent the publication of, any confidential information relating to any other member.  

You accept that any unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information belonging to another may amount to immediate dismissal from the membership.

Should you decide to leave the Membership then you remain bound by the confidentiality and privacy obligations.

 

Please be aware that all Live and some Event sessions may be recorded and your name and image/video may be captured. The recordings of the training will be kept and made available to others in the membership. If you provide or share any information within these sessions about yourself or your business that information will be shared within the group. Should you not wish to be recorded please ensure that if you attend any training your camera is switched off and your name field is changed to “Attendee” with your initial so that support can still be offered but no personal identifiable information will be captured.

 

Refunds and Cancellation

It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and find educational content, networking opportunities and form friendships. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund within 14 days from the date of subscription. However if you have accessed and downloaded content from the site refunds are not available if you have just changed your mind. Refund requests should be made in writing to hello@katefreedman.co.uk and a full refund will be provided within 14 working days should not conent be downloaded.

In the event that one or more event sessions have already taken place within the first 14 days following your subscription, you are still entitled to request a refund but the value of the session(s) shall be deducted from the amount paid by you, along with any reasonable costs which have been borne by us in respect of the administrative costs of commencing the membership.

There is no obligation on us to refund any amounts paid where cancellation requests are made following the 14 day cancellation period.

Should you wish to cancel your membership you can do so at any time using your account details page.

We reserve all rights to cancel the membership or event for any reason without prior notice. In such circumstance a refund will be provided for the remainder of that year or for the event as applicable.

 

Intellectual Property

During your time as a member you will be provided with coaching house materials. At all times the intellectual property rights and copyrights connected with those materials remain with us. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools but you are not permitted to duplicate or provide copies to third parties. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights.

The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.

 

As community users you recognize and agree that by uploading any content (including, but not limited to designs, images, animations, videos, audio files, fonts, logos, illustrations, compositions, artworks, interfaces, text and literary works) through any means to the website, you confirm that you own all the relevant rights or received the appropriate license to upload/transfer/send the content. You agree and consent that the uploaded/transferred content may be publicly displayed at the website.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

  1. What happens if I can’t make a live session?

As far as possible, the live masterclasses will be held through the Wix site. If not they will be recorded and the link to watch will be sent to you or will be posted in Past Events within 48 hours following the end of a live session. From time to time technology may fail and the recording may be unavailable or of poor visual or sound quality but we do aim to record all live sessions.

 

    2. What if I need additional support?

Additional support can be offered to each member in the form of 1:1 support or guidance. We are happy to support you as required, please contact us directly, additional charges will apply.

 

   3. What if I am ill during the membership?

If you are ill or unable to attend a live session for any reason you will be able to watch the recording of that session. If you are ill for an extended period please let us know and we will support you wherever we can.

 

   4.  Is the membership suitable for all businesses and those at all stages of business?

The membership is best suited to those who are new in business or yet to start, those who have been in business up to a year and all those in between. You may still find benefit if you have been in business longer but never focused on the business build activities in enough depth to create a sustainable coaching business.

 

General

We intend to rely on the written terms set out in these terms and conditions for the services that we provide to you in delivery of the membership. These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.

Should there be any conflict between these terms and any membership hosting platform or payment gateway, these terms shall prevail.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of your service. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.

If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

These Terms are governed by English law. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of the Membership.

Retention of right to change offering

We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

Right to suspend or cancel user account

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, with respect to automatically-renewed subscriptions to paid services, such subscriptions will be discontinued only upon the expiration of the respective period for which you have already made payment

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

 

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kate Freedman Coaching Ltd assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

 

Right to change and modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review this page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

 

Promotional emails and content

You agree to receive from time-to-time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time. 

 

Preference of law and dispute resolution

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the United Kingdom, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in London, UK. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.

Provisions recommended for websites with user communities

We offer users the ability to create communities for the members of this websites, in order to interact with such users in a better way. 

All users that join a community have a public profile that is publicly visible to site visitors, and that their public activity (such as their posts or comments) will be visible to other visitors of the website.

As a user of the website you can always opt-out and exit the community, and upon doing so, your user’s profile will not be publicly visible. Naturally, in such event you will not be able to use the community features (e.g. liking, commenting or writing posts).
