At Kate Freedman Coaching, I focus on helping individuals transform themselves and reach their potential using coaching sessions as the catalyst for change.
I use coaching to create learning spaces for professional coaches, individuals, teams and organisations to help them transition to achieve their aspirations.

I’m an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach with a background at corporate multinational Unilever PLC, where I led a commercial capability programme and was an internal executive and careers coach for almost seven years. I was one of the first coaches to deliver Unilever’s award-winning ‘Purpose in Leadership’ programme, credited with supporting the company’s drive to Net Zero.
My recent executive corporate clients include Natwest, HSBC, Docusign, Boston Scientific, Salesforce, Muller, Sage, eBay, Costa, Sainsburys, Specsavers, FInistra, WWF, Samaritans and I continue to coach at Unilever plc. Coaching clients have also come from the education sector, the police and the local council, and I have a passion for supporting clients in renewables and those with ESG challenges.
I understand the complexities, challenges, and opportunities that corporate life and being a professional coach can pose. When I coach, I draw upon various tools and techniques and deeply explore a client’s development plans and aspirations.
Plus, I’m passionate about helping people make empowered life and professional choices.
In 2017, I set up Kate Freedman Coaching. I wanted to enact my purpose to be a solopreneur who, while supporting her family, could coach individuals and teams to explore their purpose for the greater good of their professional lives and the value they could offer their organisations.
Since then, my love of learning and all things coaching has led me to complete a team coaching qualification and a diploma in coach supervision. In addition, I also have a certificates in climate coaching, ICF Supervision and Mentoring specialisms to enable me to use the power of coaching to drive change in our ecosystem and wider profession.
